Forum board to disseminate information to professional level race tire technicians and to exchange ideas. After being the "Tire Guy" for many professional teams over the last 14 years, I have noticed a disconnect between many team engineers and the tire techs. Information is only passed down on a need to know basis. This site is designed to help those techs understand what is going on, and if necessary, operate outside the realm of a race engineer, making pressure adjustments on their own. I'm attempting to "pay it forward" to the youngsters coming into the sport, and basically, leave it a bit better than I found it, hopefully, bypassing some of the trials and tribulations that I experienced.
